Mahogany Banded Nesting Tables

A really wonderful group of three table’s two smaller ones folding under the larger one thereby acquiring the name stacking tables. All three solid mahogany tables have banding on the outside edge. The large table has a drawer with a brass lion head pull. The stacking tables are signed Flint Horner Co. Flint’s Fine Furniture was a New York manufacturer derived from the combination of the cabinet shops of George C. Flint and Robert J. Horner, both fine 19th century craftsmen. Horner took over Flint’s business around the turn of the century or a little later and the company was first called Flint & Horner, then Flint’s Fine Furniture. The tables are in excellent condition and date from the 1920’s. Measurements are as follows: Large table Height 24” x 22” x 14”, Middle Size Table 23 ¼” x 18 ½” x 17 ½”, Small Table 22 ½” x 11 1/8” x 15 3/8”. They are perfect for those extra tables when you have quests and yet take up hardly any room when not needed. Functional yet beautiful what a combination.

We’re offering a compact Solid Mahogany Telephone Table, Gossip Bench with an Attached Chair. The upholstered chair swings out for a comfortable seat yet when you need the extra Room it swings under the table. There is a bottom shelf for storage and a mahogany galley on two sides of the table top to protect papers from slipping off. The telephone table is unique, comfortable, sturdy, compact and charming all in one. The condition is excellent and it’s dated from the 1920’s. The measurements are 30” High x 17” Wide x 17” depth.

Georgian Mahogany Work Table Sewing Stand

This is a wonderful Georgian Mahogany Work Table Sewing Stand with line inlay on top, sides and legs. On the top four marquetry fans decorate the corners. Lift the top to reveal a mirror and several compartments one of which houses the original pin cushion. The top lid locks to protect valuables. A single drawer with the original crystal pull is there for storage. Underneath the drawer is a satin basket for more storage with two brass knobs to pull out the basket. The stand is supported by four curved and stripped inlay legs. This is a superior work table sewing stand dating to 1880’s. Measurements are 22” wide x 14.5 depth x 27” high.

Tea Table with Glass Tray and Marquetry

We’re offering a beautiful Edwardian Mahogany Tea Table with a lift off glass tray for serving guests. Exquisite carvings surround the four sides and continue down the four carved legs. A marquetry satinwood floral design of flowers and a flaming torch tied with a ribbon decorate the center of this charming tea table. The condition is pristine and dates to the early 20th century. Measurements are 26” long x 20.5” high x 18” wide.

Flame Mahogany Chest End Table

Flame Mahogany Small Chest/End Table with shell carved design. There are two drawers. The chest is supported by four cabriole legs each having carvings on top. The legs end in pad feet. The hardware is solid brass and all original. Wonderful pristine condition signed Van Sciver. Circa 1930’s.

We’re offering a solid Mahogany Gate Leg Table. It’s a very slim table when closed but the leg swings out like a gate and the side lifts up to form a much larger table. Using one leaf it would open to 17”. With both leaves up it would open to 27”x 42”. Perfect for a smaller area but great for company when you need a bigger table. The condition is excellent with original finish. Circa 1910.

Missions Oak Writing Desk or Telephone Table with fold out or hidden away seat.
This wonderful crafted piece was made & signed by Cushman Mfg. Co. Vermont. The top is glass exposing a shelf beneath. The chair is attached yet folds away so you don’t know it’s there. Circa 1920’s.
